I’m Deanna Hill, an independent broker who has managed rental properties since 2007. I represent a small number of buyers and sellers of investment and commercial property in Tompkins and Tioga counties, with a specialty in Collegetown.

An Owner’s Perspective
Most brokers see a property for the length of a transaction. I’ve managed rental properties since 2007 and have owned them myself since 2015, so I look at a building the way an operator does: rent history, maintenance needs, and how it runs day to day. I earned my real estate salesperson’s license in 2013 and my broker’s license in 2025, and my years as a paralegal taught me to read the details of an agreement closely.
A Small Number of Clients, On Purpose
I take on a limited number of transactions each year. That lets me give each client my direct attention rather than handing the work off.
Who I Work With
I work with investors and owners of investment and commercial property. I don’t handle residential home sales for owner-occupants.
Collegetown and Beyond
Collegetown is my specialty, and many of the buildings I know best are multi-unit properties a short walk from Cornell. I also work throughout Tompkins and Tioga counties.
